Rhino workwear is a multi purpose range of personal protection, developed to provide an extensive choice of garments for full body protection, against a broad range of mechanical and thermal hazards. Ergonomic garment design and styling maximises wearer comfort and freedom of movement.
Inherent Fire Resistance Understanding the basic differences between ‘inherent’ and treated’ FR technologies is extremely important for those responsible for risk assessment and the evaluation, selection and wearing of protective garments. The term ‘treated’ refers to a manufacturing process where a specialised mixture of chemicals is applied to a naturally flammable fabric, such as cotton or polyester/cotton blends to make the resultant fabric flame resistant. Unlike inherent FR fabrics, chemically treated FR materials may have their flame resistant properties diminished or removed completely depending on how these fabrics are laundered or which chemicals they are exposed to in the work environment.
There are NO circumstances in which ‘treated’ fabrics may be considered to possess ‘inherent’ FR properties.
Rhino workwear is exclusively manufactured from the Tilsatec range of inherent FR materials to ensure that the level of protection afforded to wearers is never compromised.
Selection of Performance Rhino workwear is engineered to meet the requirements of a broad range of demanding industrial standards. The flexibility of the Tilsatec fabric range enables end users to select the most appropriate type and level of performance required for a specific range of hazards in any given workplace environment. For any given application, a choice of fabric is often available to suit various garment care and cleansing regimes.
